Patricia Charlyne Sapp, 65 of Luray, MO died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Donnellson Health Center in Donnellson, IA. She was born December 10, 1951 in Burlington, IA, the daughter of Francis and Glenna Louis Howell Wrieden. On August 5, 1972 she was united in marriage to Melvin Sapp, Jr. He survives. Other survivors include one son , Stacy Sapp (Samantha) of Memphis, MO, one daughter, Tammy Sapp (Jason Schmid) of Luray, MO, four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Zinnert, Hailey Ray, Kennady Sapp and Hunter Sapp, one sister, Sharon Duncan (Daniel) of Montrose, IA,seven brothers, Francis Wrieden (Mary), Richard Wrieden (Lynda), Edward Wrieden (Carey), Terry Wrieden, Robert Wrieden (Rhea), Mike Wrieden (Robin), and Chuck Wrieden (Tracy) all of Keokuk, three sisters-in-law, Glenna Green (Jim) of Warsaw, IL, Sandra Young of Quincy, IL and Shelda Wrieden of Keokuk, one brother-in-law, Troy Sapp of Denver, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, John Wrieden, Danny Wrieden and Leonard Wrieden. Charlyne had been employed by the Montrose Health Center as a CNA for many years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors riding horses, camping and fishing. She liked to take trips. Patricia adored her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with her family. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Danny & Joe Duncan officiating. Memorials may be made to the family. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Donnellson Health Center for the special care they took of Charlyne.
