Patricia Ellenberg, 81, of Warsaw, IL died Friday, May 16, 2014 at her home in Warsaw, IL. She was born December 2, 1932 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Doncer Ruby. Patricia was first married to Robert Rhoades in November 1952. They later divorced. On October 1, 1994 she was united in marriage to Edward Ellenberg. He preceded her in death in 1998. Patricia graduated from the Mt. Pleasant High School with the Class of 1951. She then attended Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, MO for two years. She was employed at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA for seventeen years as a billing clerk. Patricia is survived by three daughters, Peggy McKain and her husband John of Keokuk, Penni Trone and her husband Edward of Warsaw and Viki Rhoades of Keokuk, 9 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild and 9 ½ great grandchildren, and one brother, Marvin Ruby of Mt. Pleasant, IA. Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents, and one son David Rhoades. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Pastor Mark Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Keokuk National Cemetery.
