Oscar Noyles Mason

Oscar Noyles Mason, 73, of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, formerly of Keokuk, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026, at Birkwood Village in Fort Madison, Iowa.

He was born October 2, 1952, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Herman Marvin and Susie Marjorie Pennington Mason. He attended Keokuk High School.

Oscar had been employed by Cargill, Inc. in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Oscar enjoyed flea markets and had a special talent for finding unique vintage items. He loved collecting, buying and selling vintage treasures. Above all, Oscar cherished his family. He helped raise his grandson, Rhion, and was proud of the time they spent together.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynne; one grandson, Rhion; his siblings, twin brother, Frank; brothers, Stanley and Terry and two sisters, Linda and Vickie.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Johnathan; and six siblings, Rodney, Darrell, Nancy, Alice, Trell and James.

A graveside service will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Keokuk at a later date.
