Opal Marie Dietsch, 85 of Keokuk, died Monday, February 25, 2008 at River Hills Village in Keokuk, IA. She was born on February 21, 1923 in Raritan, IL the daughter of Jesse and Edna Wright Tate. She married Harley E. Dietsch on July 16, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant, IA. He preceded her in death in 1995. She and her husband owned and operated Harley's T.V. Service in Keokuk for many years until they retired in 1995. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Eleanor) Limkeman of Keokuk, Mrs. William (Barbara) Toops of Keokuk, and Mrs. Pat (Sandra) Tulley of Wataga, IL, three sons, Edwin Dietsch and his wife Sally of Pittsfield, IL, Marvin Dietsch of Milton Freewater, OR and Fred Dietsch and his wife Susie of Eagle, ID, twenty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, one sister, Fern Todd of Lomax, IL, one brother, Jack Tate and his wife Ursala of Ft. Madison, IA, and a sister-in-law, Lois Tate of Lomax, IL. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, James, Romane, Ivan, Wendell and Kenneth and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marvin (Marty) Dietsch. According to her wishes her body has been cremated. A graveside service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Sunset Memorial Park in Keokuk with Brother Andrew Lear officiating.
