Olin Franklin Foglesong, 67, of Taylor, MO, died Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born May 8, 1939 in Granger, MO, the son of Ray Ernest and Ada Loretta Anderson Foglesong. On December 22, 1969 he was united in marriage to Dorothy M. Wells. She survives. Other survivors include his son Gary Foglesong and his wife Toni of Taylor, MO, a granddaughter, Jewel Foglesong, a brother Harold Foglesong and his wife Marjorie of Kahoka, MO, two sisters, Ann Page and her husband Fred of Sedalia, MO and Hazel Blum of Kahoka, MO, a sister in law, Lena Mae Carroll of Kahoka, MO, five step children, David Wells and his wife Doris, Larry Wells and his wife Brenda, Patty Pratt and her husband Benny, Rodney Wells and wife Patty, Brenda Friedhoff and her husband John, numerous step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren and sixteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mary Foglesong and Helen Taylor, two brothers Claude and Clyde Foglesong and two brothers in law Forrest Blum and Harold Taylor. Olin proudly served in the United States Army from 1957 - 1960. For many years he was an antique dealer. He enjoyed restoring antiques and selling them. He was a member of Iron Workers Union for 35 years and a lifetime member of the VFW. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, Missouri with Reverend Ernest Deatrick officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Wyaconda Cemetery in Wyaconda, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday with family meeting with friends at that time. Memorial may be made to his granddaughter's education fund.
