Nova Joan Daggs, 71, of Montrose, IA, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Altrue Health System in Grand Forks, ND.
She was born on June 22, 1937 in Lee County IA, the daughter of Archie Rowe and Frances Morse. On August 15, 1959, Nova was united in marriage to Samuel Daggs in Keokuk, IA. He survives.
Other survivors include four sons, David Daggs and his wife Lynda of Montrose, IA, Roger Daggs and his wife Marty of Keokuk, IA , Matthew Daggs and his wife Pammy Jo of LaGrange , MO, Douglas Daggs and his wife Sherry of Keokuk, IA, one daughter Pam Collette and her husband Tim of Grafton, ND, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister Donna Hudson and her husband Jerry of Donnellson, IA, one brother, Forrest Jones and his wife Ruth of Warsaw, IL , many nieces and nephews and her four legged friends, Molly and Candy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Troy Ray Daggs, a sister Ginger Loring and a half sister, Naomi Childress.
Nova worked as an over the road truck driver.
She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, sewing, cooking, listening to audio books and doing yard work.
Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday,October 23 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Pastor Mike Shea officiating. Burial was in the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, IA.
