Neva Adamson, 91, of Kahoka, MO, died Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa. She was born June 18, 1915 in Luray, Missouri, the daughter of Foster Carl and Mary Irene Howell McCarty. On May 1, 1937, she was united in marriage to James F. Adamson in Wyaconda, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1980. Neva was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Luray, Missouri. She liked to read, work in her garden and can the produce she grew. She enjoyed volunteering at the Clark County Nursing Home. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Carl Adamson and his wife Janet of Birmingham, Iowa, Larry Adamson and his wife Nancy of Kahoka, MO, two daughters, Jeanie Ray and her husband Larry of Luray, MO, Mary Dieterich of Kahoka, MO, eleven grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one sister Cordonna Parrish of Kahoka and niece and nephew, Wesley and Wanda Parrish. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, her son-in-law, Norman Dieterich and brother-in-law, Carson Parrish. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 26 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Reverend George LeMaster officiating. Burial will be in the Combs Cemetery in Luray, Missouri. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday with family meeting with friends from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
