Mike Byrne

Mike Byrne, 67, of Keokuk, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Unity Point Health-Keokuk. He was born on April 23, 1951 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Arthur E. and Eva B. Elmore Byrne. On March 31, 1975 Mike was united in marriage to Pamela L. Hammel. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Jessica L. Byrne of Keokuk, two grandchildren, Drake Michael D. Virgil and Keira Halliburton both of Keokuk, a sister-in-law, Kathy Palmer and her husband Jerry of Keokuk, a niece Cyndee Bachman-Stephens of The Colony, TX, two nephews, Harry Whiteside, Jr. of Fairbanks, IA and Tony Whiteside of MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jeremy Michael Byrne, three brothers, Harry L. Whiteside, Sr., Donald Byrne and Patrick Byrne, his favorite aunt, Dorothy Holland and his best pal, Cletus, his longhair dachshund. Mike enjoyed blues music and panel trucks. Per Mike's request there will be no services or visitation. His body has been cremated and his ashes will be scattered at a later date. There will be no services or visitation.
