Michelle Lee Rhodes, 51 of Keokuk, IA passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born January 21, 1973 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Lee Boudewyn and Betty Lou Rhodes. Michelle graduated from Clark County R-1 High School with the class of 1992.

Michelle was very creative and enjoyed making picture dots. She loved to spend time with her friends and touched the lives of many people with her warm smile. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and spent every chance she had with them.

She is survived by her longtime companion of twenty-six years, Bill DeSherlia of Keokuk, one daughter, Shannon Miller (Michael) of Lineville, IA, two sons, Adrian Egley of Tipton, MO and Shay Jeffers (Stasia Christopherson) of Keokuk and four grandchildren, Wyatt Miller, Eternity Miller, Payton Burkes and Athenia Jeffers. She is also survived by two brothers, Butch Rhodes and Doug Rhodes both of Keokuk, one sister, Julie Wixom of Keokuk and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of remembrance was held from 4-6 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA.
