Mary Ellen Swinderman, 75, of Seymour, TN, formerly of Keokuk, IA passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Fort Saunders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She was born on April 29, 1946 in Carthage, IL. She married Larry "Butch" Swinderman on May 22, 1971. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2007. Mary worked at the Keokuk Convalescent Center for fifteen years and Lee County Home Health for thirteen years. She is survived by her children, Carol (Chris) Spray and Allen (Kim) Swinderman, grandchildren, Cole Spray and Alex Swinderman, two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Karsyn Spray and many other family members. A Gathering of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Melrose Church, 3422 Argyle Rd, Argyle, IA.
