Obituary

Marvin Boudreau, 62, of St. Patrick, Missouri died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born February 23, 1950 in Keokuk, IA the son of Robert F. and Wilma Hunziker Boudreau. He was united in marriage to Doris Perry Anderson on October 20, 1979 in Kahoka, MO. She survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Schilling and her husband Bryan of Keokuk, IA, two sons, Todd Anderson and his wife Kelly of Newhall, IA, Tony Anderson and his wife Lori of Kahoka, and, six grandchildren, Lane Anderson, Kelsey, Kourtney and Kyle Anderson, Zoie Boudreau and Eden Schilling, two step grandsons, Nick and Andrew Haerther, a sister, Judy McAfee of Quincy, IL, two brothers, Larry Boudreau of St. Patrick, MO, and Lloyd Boudreau and his wife Linda of St. Patrick, MO, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother in law, Ed McAfee and a nephew, Michael McAfee. Marvin graduated from the Kahoka High School with the Class of 1968. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country from 1969 to 1971. Marvin worked as a welder at Knapheide in Quincy, IL from 1983 to 2011. Marvin enjoyed hunting, trap shooting and watching sports on television. He loved telling stories but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Celebration of life service was held 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka. Memorials may be made to his grandchildren's education fund.
