View Memorial Tribute MarScine Ann Morgan, 61, of Alexandria, MO, died Saturday, June 17, 2006 at her home, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on November 18, 1944 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of James and Marjorie Hayden Johnson. On January 27, 1962, MarScine was united in marriage to James Ralph Morgan, Jr. in Keokuk, IA. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1996. MarScine was raised in Keokuk, IA and attended Keokuk High School. In 1963, she and Jim made their home in Alexandria, MO. She had been employed at the State Central Bank in Keokuk for eleven years. She was a member of the Alexandria Presbyterian Church where she had served as an Elder. She had been a member and past president of the PTO at Running Fox Elementary School. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was an avid Clark County sports fan and her greatest love was watching her grandchildren participate in sports. MarScine is survived by three daughters, Renee Schofield and her husband Ed of Ketchikan, Alaska, Denise Protsman and her husband Danny of Alexandria, MO, and Jena Church and her husband Jason of Kahoka, MO, two sons, Jim Morgan and his wife Jenny of Keokuk, IA, and Eric Morgan of Alexandria, MO, twelve grandchildren, Adam Alexis Schofield, Cody and Colten Protsman, Bryan Jorden Plenge, Zachary Horner, Korie, Sadie, Colby, Dakota, and Mikayla Morgan, one great granddaughter, Amber Merfeld, her mother, Marjorie Johnson of Keokuk, IA, and one brother, Marc Johnson of Keokuk, IA. She was also preceded in death by her father, James Johnson. A Celebration of Life was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Dr. David Castrodale officiating. Burial was in the Sand Cemetery in St. Francisville, MO. Memorials have been established for the Alexandria Presbyterian Church and Eric Morgan's Education Fund.
