Marly Mae Jean Jones

Marly Mae Jean Jones, 19, of Bennett, IA died October 7, 2019 at Unity Point Health in Keokuk. She was born March 15, 2000 in Carthage, IL the daughter of Timothy Garrelts and Miranda Jones. Marly enjoyed working on cars, four wheeling, snowboarding, dirt bike riding and being outside. She also enjoyed playing softball and played on numerous teams including Central Lee high school team, the Montrose softball league, the Stingerz and Venom. She volunteered at the animal shelter. She was always the center of any social function. You always knew when she entered a room as she was very boisterous. She was always up for a food eating competition with her brothers. Marly was employed at Mass Marketing in Iowa City, IA. She is survived by her mother, Miranda Jones of Bennett, IA, her father, Timothy Garrelts of Wentzville, MO, three sisters, Haley Jones of Montrose, Vanessa Rankin of Quincy and Kylie Marinov of Canada, two brothers, Emmit Garrelts and Cole Garrelts both of Bennett, IA, maternal grandma, Donna Jones of Keokuk, maternal grandfather, Chester Jones of Montrose, maternal great grandma Betty Jones of Keokuk, and three aunts, Marlana Jones of Bennett, Jana Kirchner of Keokuk, and Renae Conlee of MN, an uncle, Dale Miller and two cousins, Conrad Kirchner and Joelle Conlee. She was preceded in death by grandmother, Terry Lynn Jones, great grandparents, Carl and Ardith Jones, Donald Jones and great great grandmother, Barbara Estella Mae Mead. There will be no services.
