Myrna "Marlene" Gray, 84, of Hamilton, IL died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Sunset Home in Quincy, IL.
She was born September 7, 1931 in Quincy, IL the daughter of William Harold "Buck" and Mabel Juanita Briddle Brown. On October 4, 1951 she was united in marriage to Donald E. Gray in Quincy, IL. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2006.
Marlene and her husband owned and operated the Addie May Excursion Boat on River Road in Nauvoo, IL for twenty years. They worked by each other's side until their retirement in 1982.
Marlene adored her children and grandchildren. The time she spent with them was priceless and the memories that were made will last on in their hearts forever.
She is survived by one son, Rick Gray (Mary Jo) of Keokuk, three daughters, Beverly Weirather (Mark) of Keokuk, Joleen Nachbar (Rusty) of Raymore, MO and Melanie Gray of Atlanta, GA, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Terry Brown of WI.
Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Randy Gray and one brother, Ronnie Brown.
According to her wishes there will be no services. She will be buried with her husband, Donald at Keokuk National Cemetery.
