Mark Allen Hanna, 47, of Scotsdale, Arizona, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 in Scotsdale.
He was born May 16, 1958 in Des Moines, IA, the son of H. Allen and Nancy Wharff Hanna.
He graduated from Warsaw High School in Warsaw, IL with the Class of 1976. He attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. He received his degree in Computer Technology from Arizona University.
He had been employed at Props, Inc., in Scotsdale, AZ where he created and built stained glass windows and other artistic pieces.
He was a member of the First Christian Church in Keokuk, IA.
Mark loved nature and animals. He enjoyed music, especially that of Pink Floyd, and was an avid fan of Star Trek. His pride and joy was his car, a Porsche named Sneaky Pete. Mark was a very talented artist and especially enjoyed drawing caricatures and creating stained glass suncatchers and lamps.
He is survived by his parents, Fred and Nancy Park of Burlington, IA, one sister, Chris Hanna of West Burlington, IA, his grandmother, Wilma Hanna of Laurie, MO, two special nephews, Tyson and Tyler, other nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Beth Hanna, and his grandparents, Bernice and George Wharff, Milton and Geraldeen Park and Vernon Hanna.
A Memorial servicewas held at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 5, at the First Christian Church in Keokuk, IA with Reverend Bill Mitchell and Reverend Terry Halsted officiating.
A memorialwas established forthe First Christian Church.
