Marianne Flickinger

Marianne Flickinger, 61 of Keokuk, Iowa died Friday, September 2, 2016 at her home in Keokuk, Iowa. She was born August 25, 1955 in Millville, NJ the daughter of Edmond and Mary Taylor Flickinger. She had been employed at the Millville Hospital until her health would no longer allow her to work. Marianne was a sports oriented person and loved all sports. She played softball, tennis and enjoyed playing pool. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and watched all of their games. Marianne is survived by her parents, Edmond and Mary Flickinger of Millville, NJ, four brothers, Joseph, Thomas and Charles Flickinger all of Millville, NJ and Kevin Flickinger (Vivian) of Mays Landing, NJ, one sister, Christine Daughters (Alan) of Keokuk, IA numerous nieces and nephews and her best friend, Susan MacAvoy of Keokuk, IA. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, one sister, Patricia Flickinger and one sister-in-law, LuAnn Flickinger. The family will hold a private service at a later date. Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
