Marianna Wilson

Marianna Wilson, 90, of Wayland, MO died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born August 12, 1921 in rural Kahoka, Mo the daughter of Riley E. and Anna Alberta Ross McKinzie. On June 4, 1941 she was united in marriage to Floyd M. Wilson in Louisiana, MO. He preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Kahoka, Missouri. She and her husband owned and operated Wilson Implement in Wayland, MO and took pride in being a Case dealer for over 50 years. Along with owning the implement company they also farmed. Marianna enjoyed the livestock especially the cattle. Marianna is survived by her caretaker and special friend, Alice Morehouse and her husband Gary of Alexandria, MO, a niece, Lou Ann Odom of Columbia, MO, along with great nephews and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother, Ross McKinzie. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Kahoka Cemetery in Kahoka, Missouri with Pastor Shawn McAfee officiating. Memorials may be made to Clark County Local Cancer Fund or the Wayland Fire Department.
