Loving mother and wife, Marian Ruth Dawkins, died Sunday, September 13, 2015 at her home, with her children and grandchildren at her side. Marian Ruth Mouse was born in Missouri on February 16, 1928. She graduated from Kirksville State Teacher College, in Kirksville, MO. She married William Dawkins and moved to Keokuk, IA in the early 1950's. They had four children, Dan Dawkins, Mary Dawkins Walker, Chris Dawkins and Teresa Dawkins. She has eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Marian worked many years as a real estate agent in Keokuk. She retired from Cramer Real Estate at age 80. She was an artist, homebuilder, cook and loved her family above all. She will be greatly missed. We honored our Mother and Father together at a visitation at Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. Marian loved to contribute to St Judes Hospital. In lieu of flowers a memorial to St Jude Children's Hospital is suggested.
