Marian Eileen Carder

Marian Eileen Carder, 79, of Keokuk Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026, at West Point Care Center in West Point, Iowa.

She was born January 12, 1947, the daughter of Robert and Claudine Brilon Cagle. She graduated Keokuk High School and later beauty school. After several years of beautician work, she switched career paths and ended up working as an expeditor on various gas pipelines. During her work as an expeditor she met her true love, Ronny Carder. Marian and Ronny were later united in marriage. Marian loved her music and her cats, they all had names. She was a fantastic listener. 

Marian is survived by her grandchildren Jesslee (Jake) Taylor and William Edwards. She also is survived by 7 great-grandchildren (especially Ezra that loved ‘his’ grandma) and one great great grandchild. Also nieces Renee Clippert and Terri Nelson and nephew Jason Cagle, and their families.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronny Carder, her son David J Lewis, and her brother, R. Hugh Cagle.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
