Marguerite L. Pezley, 86, of Keokuk, Iowa died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Lexington Square in Keokuk, Iowa. She was born on January 28, 1921 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of John P. and Cora Heavin Stephenson. On September 19, 1942, Marguerite was united in marriage to Raymond Pezley. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1987. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Keokuk, IA. Marguerite enjoyed cooking, collecting dolls and bowling. She is survived by one son, Jerry Pezley of Keokuk, IA, one daughter, Joyce Peterson and her husband Ron of Springfield, IL, two grandchildren, Lana Peterson and Kevin Hawkins of Springfield, IL, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Albert Stephenson and one sister, Myrtle. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA, with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in the Charleston Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church.
