Margaret R. "Ronnie" Mason, 69, of Keokuk, IA, died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at the Keokuk Area Hospital. She was born August 15, 1935 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Gabriel and Gladys Anderson. Margaret was united in marriage to Robert "Bo" Mason in Memphis, MO. He survives. Other survivors include four daughters, Dagmar Grieve of Salem, OR, Sandra Adams of the U.K., Robin Mason of O'Fallon, MO, Cheryl Lunardi of Eldridge, IA, two sons, Robert E. Mason of Keokuk, and Ryan L. Mason of Warsaw, IL, presently stationed in Iraq, eight grandchildren, Gabriel and Adam Grieve, J.W. and Ashley Adams, Stefan, Paige, Katherine Margaret "Katie" and Molly Mason, three sisters, Elaine "Toots" Dranes of Keokuk, IA, Anna Goetz of Palmyra, MO and Risa Langedal of Keokuk, IA, five brothers, John Anderson, Bill Anderson, Dan Anderson, Don Anderson, and Art Anderson all of Keokuk, IA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Margaret graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1953. She had been a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Keokuk since the 1940's. She enjoyed being at home, doing her housework, cooking, sewing and tending to her garden. She liked to play Scrabble and other computer games along with doing word puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States to visit her children and see the sights. Attending Bible Study was an important part of her life. Margaret was affectionately known to all of her family as "Grandma Ronnie" and "Grandma Bo". She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and treasured the times she spent with her family. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Keokuk, IA with Reverend Paul L. Beisel officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park in Keokuk. A memorial was established for the Messiah Lutheran Church.
