Marcia Ann Ball Slutts, 53 of Montrose, IA died Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home.

She was born on December 27, 1968, in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Charlie and Doris Moore Ball.

Marcia worked at Taco Johns in Marshalltown, Caesars in Fort Madison, and was a CNA at The Madison in Fort Madison and at Montrose Nursing Home.

She was a member of New Testament Christian Church.

Marcia had a great love for cats. She liked to read, cook and crochet. Marcia enjoyed making people laugh, but most of all she loved being with her kids.

She is survived by one daughter, Karlie Billings of Burlington, one son, Kurtis Slutts of Keokuk, two sisters, Karla Nipper (Dennis) of Murfreesboro, TN and Julie Meierotto (Marty) of West Point, and two brothers, Jon Wacker of Donnellson and James Ball (Scotty) of Pensacola, FL.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Jesse Wacker.

A memorial service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk.
