Lucille E. Bradley, 95, of Keokuk, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at River Hills Village in Keokuk.
She was born on March 10, 1920 in Warsaw, IL, the daughter of Benjamin and Erma Richardson Pfeiferling. She graduated from Hamilton High School with the Class of 1937.
On September 12, 1964, Lucille was united in married to Roe W. Bradley in Alexandria, MO. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1984.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Over the years she had been employed at Graham Hospital in Keokuk, Burlington Hospital in Burlington, IA, J.C. Penney in Ft. Madison and Montgomery Ward in Keokuk. She retired in 1982 from Montgomery Ward.
Lucille enjoyed traveling and caring for her yard. She mowed the grass herself until she was in her 80's. She also helped her husband, Roe with his garden. She was an avid sports fan and her favorite teams were the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Cubs.
She is survived by her son, Glenn Barbe and his wife Karen of Keokuk, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor Bill Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Keokuk.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home with the family meeting with friends at that time.
