Lori "Pixie" Anderson Patterson, 49 of Keokuk, IA died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her home. She was born July 7, 1963 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Arthur J. and Cheryl Ann Hardy Anderson. Lori graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1981. Lori was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served her country. She was a member of the St. John's Episcopal Church in Warsaw, IL and the American Legion Post #41 in Keokuk, IA. Lori had been employed at McDonald's as a shift manager since May of 1998. She was a hard worker who took her responsibilities to heart. Lori loved to spend time with her family and friends. She always seemed to brighten their day with her smile and wonderful attitude. She enjoyed bonfires and decorating for holidays, especially Halloween. She is survived by one son, James Patterson and his wife Courtney of Alexandria, MO, one brother, Tod Anderson of Keokuk, IA, one sister, DeeDee Anderson of Keokuk, IA, two nephews, Tate Anderson and Jake Skinner of Keokuk, IA, two nieces, Jenny Anderson of Argyle, IA and Katie Skinner of Keokuk, IA, one great-niece, Annika Campbell of Keokuk, IA, one granddaughter, Dawn Inlo of Alexandria, MO, fiancé Clint Gray of Keokuk, IA and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and one nephew. Graveside services with military rites will be held at 2p.m., Monday at the Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vigen Memorial Home towards funeral expenses.
