Lola M. Weaver, 75, of Keokuk, IA formerly of Kahoka, MO died June 6, 2006 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born August 11, 1930 in Ashton, MO the daughter of Ernest and Georgia Mae Keller Irvin. On August 4, 1951 she was united in marriage to Carl W. Decker, Jr. in Keokuk, IA. She then married Clark Weaver on September 18, 1971 in Quincy, IL. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1997. Lola graduated from Revere High School in 1949. She worked for Dryden formerly known as BTR, Sheller Globe, Schlegel for several years. Lola and her husband owned and operated Kahoka Machine Shop and Auto Parts for 10 years. Most recently she worked at Hy-Vee in the meat department. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Keokuk, VFW Auxiliary, and the Clark County Moose and had received a green cap (the highest honor in the Moose Lodge). She enjoyed sewing and making doll clothes. She also enjoyed watching Poker on the television and going to the gambling boat. She loved to listen to Country and Western music and being around her friends and family. Survivors included a daughter, Christine Sackman of Keokuk, IA, a son Joe Decker and his wife Ruth of Keokuk, IA, seven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter, two brothers, John Irvin and his wife Edna of Farmington, IA, Wesley Irvin of Luray, MO, a sister, Iva Davis and her husband Kenny of Redondo Beach, CA, brother in law, Arlan Anderson of Coppers Cove, TX and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, one grandson, Robert Sackman, and three sisters, Myra Dumenil, Velma Branson and Elsie Anderson. Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in the Kahoka Cemetery, Kahoka, MO. Visitation was after 1 p.m. Friday with family meeting with friends from 6-8 at the funeral home. There was a Moose memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
