Lois Elaine Dresser Cline, 82, of Keokuk, IA, died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at the Keokuk Area Hospital. She was born on April 8, 1925 in Montrose, IA, the daughter of Harry D. and Maryella Wardlow Dresser. On May 19, 1946, Lois was united in marriage to A. Wayne Cline in Keokuk, IA. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1995. She graduated from Montrose High School in Montrose, IA with the Class of 1942. She had been employed at Metzeler Automotive in Keokuk, IA for 30 years, retiring in 1987. She had also worked at Shaeffer Pen in Ft. Madison, IA and at the Mississippi River bridge toll house in Keokuk, IA. She was a member of the Montrose Trinity United Methodist Church and had served as the church organist for over 10 years. She enjoyed knitting and making crafts and collecting Nativities and owls. She loved music and enjoyed playing both the piano and organ. She is survived by one son, Donald W. Cline and his wife Donna of Keokuk, IA, one daughter, Mary C. Landwehr and her husband Mikal of Keokuk, IA, two grandchildren, Alan W. Cline and Kimberly A. Washburne, both of Keokuk, IA, four great-grandchildren, Jeremy Boudewyn, Jasmine Boudewyn, Ethan Brown and Madison Brown, one sister, Eleanor Swinderman of Keokuk, IA and one brother Carl Dresser and his wife Margaret Ann of Keokuk, IA, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Vicki R. Cline, one sister, Ruth Conlee and two brothers, Howard Dresser and Harry Dresser. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Reverend Bill Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Keokuk National Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Montrose Trinity United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
