Lindy Lou Starks, 68 of Keokuk, IA died Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Southeast Iowa Hospice House in West Burlington, IA.

She was born April 29, 1954 in Ft. Madison, IA the daughter of Martin John and Hazel Ruth Taylor Goeke. Lindy graduated from Ft. Madison High School with the class of 1972.

Lindy was first married to Donald Stevens and later divorced. She then married Terry Starks and they later divorced.

Lindy had been employed at several local businesses through the years, including Hardees, Walmart and numerous nursing homes.

Lindy was a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing when she was physically able. She had a strong faith in God.

She is survived by one daughter, Hazel Stevens-Eccel (Dennis) of Hopkinsville, KY, two sons, Guy Stevens of Kuttawa, KY and Jesse Stevens of Burlington, IA, one granddaughter, Chloe Stevens of Hopkinsville, KY and one brother, Daniel Goeke (Ramona) of Wever, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no services.
