Lillian Ivy Toops, 86, of Kahoka, MO, died Monday, January 23, 2006 at the Clark County Nursing Home, Kahoka, MO. She was born March 2, 1919 in Fairmont, MO, the daughter of William A. and Mary Ellen Harvey Thompson. She married Cecil Toops on October 19, 1940 in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1980. Lillian was a member of the Fairmont Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Wyaconda area and Clark County, MO all of her life. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Lee Toops, two sisters and five brothers. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 26, 2006 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Pastor Jack Thompson officiating. Burial was in the New Woodville Cemetery, rural Wyaconda, MO. Visitation was held one hour prior to the funeral, starting at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials were made to the New Woodville Cemetery.
