God called his precious angel, Liberty Sage Hemphill home on Sunday, August 23, 2015 while she was being born into this world at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital in Ft. Madison, IA. Liberty is survived by her mother, Kaitlyn Mitchell of Keokuk, her father, Justin Hemphill of Keokuk, one sister, River Hemphill of Keokuk, maternal grandmother, Jessica Hodges of Keokuk, maternal grandfather, Scott Mitchell and his wife Kasey of Keokuk, maternal great-grandparents, Patricia "Tracy" and Rick Batley of Keokuk, maternal great-grandparents, Dan and Ann Hodges of Keokuk, maternal great-grandmother, Vicky Mitchell of Keokuk, paternal grandfather, Danny Guzman of Tazewell, VA, paternal great-grandparents, Marva and Fred Uchtman of Mt. Olive, IL, paternal great-great-grandmother, Ruth Hemphill of Springfield, IL, She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lisa Hemphill, great-grandfather, Chuck Mitchell, great-aunt, Maria Hemphill, great-great-grandfather, Marvin Hemphill and two cousins, Dustin Hemphill and Vincent Mitchell. Though her body could not sustain life here, the love of her parents and family will keep her memory forever alive in their hearts. A visitation was held at the Vigen Memorial Home. Burial was in the Honey Bend Cemetery in Litchfield, IL.
