Leslie "Les" George

Leslie Ray "Les" George, 73, of Keokuk died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 1, 1939 in Keokuk the son of Robert and Marjorie Boley George. He was united in marriage to Janet Jo Justus. She preceded him in death. Les graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1957. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country. He had been employed at Foote Mineral in Keokuk. Les enjoyed wood carving. He is survived by one son, Paul George and his wife Brandy of Nauvoo, IL, one daughter, Michelle Samuelson of Kahoka, MO, five grandchildren, Tiffany, Jerod, Brooke and Daniel Samuelson and Kinnick George, his mother, Marjorie George of Keokuk, one brother-in-law, Fred Wright of Keokuk, niece and nephew, Jacob and Sarah Wright. He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Chris Wright. There will be no services or visitation.
