View Video Tribute Leslie Lynn Gilman, 39, of Muscatine, IA, formerly of Keokuk, IA, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at her home. She was born March 11, 1967 in Iowa City, IA the daughter of Dianna Rodgers. Leslie graduated from the Nursing program at Southeastern Community College in Keokuk, IA. She had been employed as an LPN at the Muscatine Care Center in Muscatine, IA. She loved her work and taking care of people. She also enjoyed riding her Harley and going shopping. Leslie is survived by one son Ted Burdette of Ft. Madison, IA, her mother and father, Dianna and Keith Washburn of Keokuk, IA, one brother Curtis Washburn and wife Rhonda of Keokuk, IA, one sister, Nicki Hill and her husband Harley of Medill, MO, her grandfather, Sidney Land of Keokuk, IA, close cousins, Mark Shuler of Hamilton, IL, and Troy Gray of Keokuk, IA., extended family, Keith Gilman of Ft. Madison, IA, Tom Washburn of Keokuk, IA, Narrezia Smalley of Ft. Madison, IA, and Mary Castle of Burlington, IA, nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by a sister Suzane Washburn at birth, her grandmother, Viola Land and her aunt Barbara Shuler. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 30 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, IA. Visitation will be held after 1 p.m., Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with the family meeting with friends from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
