Lena Mae Carroll, 84, of Kahoka, MO died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, Missouri. She was born June 23, 1930 in Wyaconda, Missouri, the daughter of John J. and Lena Mae Hawkins Deatrick. On June 23, 1949, she was united in marriage to Claude L. Foglesong in Williamstown, MO. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1991. On October 22, 1994, she was united in marriage to Bill H. Carroll in Wyaconda, MO. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2009. Lena was a 1949 graduate of Wyaconda High School. She was a member to the Bible Baptist Church in Kahoka, MO. She enjoyed baking and gardening and was always happy to have company come and visit. Her heart was in her home where she made a lifetime of treasured memories for her family and friends. She is survived by one son, Dennis Foglesong and his wife Donna of Hannibal; two daughters, Gloria Johnson and her husband LeRoy of West Burlington, Iowa and Janet Wellman and her husband David of Ankeny, IA, six grandchildren; Clint Foglesong and his wife Shannon of Kirksville, MO, Cynthia Boling and her husband Keith of Hannibal, MO, Aimee Thompson and her husband Jarod of Grain Valley, MO, Alana Capps and her husband John of West Burlington, IA, Brandon Wellman and his wife Rachel of Gunma, Japan, Sara Baranick and her husband Brad of Des Moines, IA, seven great grandchildren and one brother Reverend Ernest Deatrick and his wife Dora Mae of Memphis, MO, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her husbands she was also preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, George Deatrick, and twin great granddaughters. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka. Burial will be in the Kahoka Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Kahoka Cemetery.
