Lee Alan Page, 46 of Keokuk, IA, died at 1:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. He was born in Wheeling West Virginia on December 5, 1964, the son of Otis and Delores Benedict Page. He attended Keokuk Schools, graduating in 1983. He also attended Southeastern Community College, earning his Automotive Diploma. Lee had been employed at Papa Chico's, Auto Credit and Newberry Auto Salvage, all in Keokuk, IA. He was a car fanatic and had a love for a certain '65 Pontiac La Mans. He enjoyed remodeling projects and landscaping his yard. He had a gift for design and an eye for detail. Lee was a NASCAR fan with his favorite drivers being Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. His greatest moments were spent in the pool with all his grandchildren. He is survived by the love of his life, Laura Nye, of Keokuk, IA and her sister, Patricia Hewitt of Keokuk, IA, his mother, Deloris Page of Keokuk, IA, his six sisters, Barbara Reuter and her husband John of Center, Missouri, Pamela Cole and her husband Richard of Newton, IA, Vickie Ray of St. Petersburg, FL, Louise Coon and her husband Bill of Tucson AZ, Marjorie Grelk of Ft. Madison, IA and Renee Page of Keokuk, IA. Grandchildren include, Vanessa, Collin & Alix Congdon of Donnellson, IA, Mitchell and Quinn Nye of Keokuk, IA, step-grandchildren, Rocky and Loudden Mathias of Burlington, IA as well as Jade Morris of West Point, IA, step-great-grandchild, Colie Kester of West Point, IA and many nieces and nephews who were all special to him. He is preceded in death by his father, his sister, Teresa Page, his grandparents and a nephew, Charles Stamper. Lee will be cremated and laid to rest in Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, IA. A graveside service for family and friends was held at 10 a.m., Monday, November 1, 2011 in Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, IA. In lieu of flowers a memorial can be made to the family.
