Larry L. Bross, 64, Of Kahoka, MO died unexpectedly Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his home in Kahoka. He was born on May 28, 1948 in Quincy, IL the son of James Richard and Jesse Smith Bross. Larry married Norma Shearer on April 8, 1982 in Kahoka, MO. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2013. Larry worked at the LaGrange Foundry for 38 years retiring in 2006. He enjoyed gardening and animals. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Stephen Wayne Wilsey of Ft. Madison, IA and Samuel Dean Wilsey of Arizona, three daughters, Charlotte Lynn Wilsey Catlin and her husband Dan of Michigan, Laura Ann Smith and Lana Marie Kirchner both of Kahoka, twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Sullivan of Canton, MO and Betty Jo Scott of Dayton, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a niece. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Pastor Ray Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. Wednesday until service time with the family meeting with friends at that time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
