Larry Quentin Broomhall of Keokuk, IA, formerly of Alexandria, MO, died Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.
He was born on November 16, 1959 in Keokuk, the son of Larry R. and Mary F. (Hess) Broomhall.
In his younger years he was employed at the DX Gas Station in Wayland, MO and the Elevator at Gregory Landing. Later he worked at Industrial Opportunities.
He enjoyed fishing and golfing and was an enthusiastic St. Louis Cardinal fan. He also enjoyed target shooting and wood carving with his dad. In his younger years Larry loved to hunt and trap.
He is survived by one brother, Terry Broomhall (Pam) of Keokuk, his mother, Mary Broomhall of Kahoka, MO, five nephews and several great-nieces and nephews and his aunt and uncle, Rosemary and Milt Yeiter of Burlington, IA.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Julie Bird.
There will be no services.
