Kevin Robert Mills, 53, of Keokuk, IA, died Monday, May 4, 2015 in Keokuk. He was born on April 18, 1962 in Burlington, IA, the son of Robert Harry and Diane Frances Arnold Mills. He graduated from Canton RV High School in Canton, MO with the Class of 1980. Kevin first worked at Steel Castings in Keokuk. He moved to Florida in the 1990's and worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. Recently, he moved back to Keokuk and was currently working at Hickey Construction. He enjoyed music, especially hard rock, and was always listening to music and often played music with his brothers. He also enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and spending time on the beach. Kevin was an accomplished artist and his specialties were pencil drawings, paintings and tattoo designs. He is survived by one daughter, Autumn Mills of Keokuk, one son, Zach Mills of Keokuk, seven brothers, Chris S. Mills of Pierson, IA, Tim S. Mills and Todd S. Mills both of Kissimmee, FL, Darrell Azbill of Iowa, Rocky Azbill of Vincennes, IA, Robert Harry Mills, Jr. and Benjamin Andrew Mills both of Keokuk, two sisters, Kristin Gonzalez of Revere, MO and Betty Jean Mills of Keokuk, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services were held at 7 p.m., Friday, May 1. 2015 y at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
