Kathy Butler Wollam, 72 of Kahoka, MO passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at LaBelle Manor in LaBelle, MO.

She was born February 24, 1951 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Barton Orrin and Barbara Lucille Dunn Butler, Jr.

Kathy attended Clark County R-1 High School in Kahoka.

On March 27, 1971 she was united in marriage to Clifford Wollam. To this union four children were born. They later divorced. She then married Richard "Dick" Myers on October 1, 1995. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2019.

Kathy was of the Christian faith. She had been employed by several retail stores in the area, including Dollar General in Kahoka. She was a passionate cat lover, enjoyed rescuing and taking care of them. She also enjoyed spending time outside working in her yard and gardening.

She is survived by two daughters, Angela Johnston (Terry) of Memphis, MO and Cary Weishaar (Karl) of Crestwood, KY, one son, Clifford Wollam (Aye) of Wildwood, MO, six grandchildren, Kirsten Drummond (Corvin), Kylee Prado (Dario), Kale Weishaar, Luke Weishaar, Amber Wollam and Alex Wollam and two great-grandchildren, Aden and Grayson Drummond. She is also survived by four sisters, Brenda Bemis of Des Moines, IA, Bonnie Dieterich (Gerald) of Kahoka, MO, Terry Gesel of Smyrna, DE and Jennifer Blum (Van) of Kahoka, MO, one brother, Barton R. Butler of Mount Vernon, IL, one brother-in-law, Doug Porter of Alexandria, MO and aunts, an uncle, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Christopher Wollam, her parents, Barton and Barbara Butler, Jr., maternal grandparents, Ray and Ethel Mae Dunn, paternal grandparents, Barton O. and Mabel Butler, Sr., one sister, Jane Butler Porter and one brother-in-law, Robert Bemis.

A funeral service was held 6 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka.

Visitation was held after 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family meeting with friends from 4 – 6 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
