View Video Tribute Joseph Allen Manewal, 52, of Keokuk, IA died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at his home. He was born November 17, 1957 in Keokuk, IA the son of Joseph and Dorothy Hammel Manewal. He had been employed at the Holiday Terrace Apartments for 17 years. Joseph loved to fish, camp and spend time outdoors. He is survived by eight sisters, Ann Lange and her husband Rich of Omaha, AR, Judy Jones and her husband Terry of Keokuk, IA, Sue Burgess and her husband Rick of Keokuk, IA, Connie Jones and her husband Robert of Keokuk, IA, Donna Manewal of Rhodes, IA, Cindy Peak and her husband Rick of Ft. Madison, IA, Tammy Garcia and her husband Gabino of Argyle, IA, Dianna Spence and her husband Calvin of Keokuk, IA one brother, Randy Manewal of Keokuk, IA, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, and one sister, Nancy Jean Manewal Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 29at Sunset Memorial Park in Keokuk, IA. The Manewal family would like to give a special thanks to the Lee County Hospice and Dr. Edward McKenney for all the care they gave to Joseph.
