Joseph F. Lambert

Joseph F. Lambert, 68, of Newton, IA, formerly of Keokuk, IA died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at The Taylor House in Des Moines, IA. He was born on January 28, 1937 in Keokuk, IA the son of Orville and Lois Roberts Lambert. Joseph was employed by the Swift & Company in Keokuk, IA until 1964 then he worked at the Windpower in Newton, IA until his retirement. He was a member of the Iowa National Guard and he enjoyed tinkering with car motors. He is survived by two sons, Kenny Lambert and his wife Mary of Keokuk, IA, Todd Lambert and his wife Kristal of Keokuk, IA, his daughter, Brenda Macy and her husband Randal of Arlington, TX, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, three brothers, Olen Lambert of Newton, IA, Robert Lambert and Gerald Lambert, both of Keokuk, IA.. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Douglas Lambert and one sister, Willidean Ringstrom. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, IA with Reverend Bill Mitchell officiating. A memorial was established for the Taylor House of Des Moines, IA.
