Joseph "Joe" Michael Fuller, 69, of Montrose, IA passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023.
Joe was born on August 20, 1953 to John Michael "Mickey" and Peggy Fuller.
Joe was a graduate of Keokuk High School class of 1971 and Southeastern Community College. On October 1, 1976 he married Jeanne Morgan in Keokuk, Iowa. Together they raised their son, Jeremiah (Jay).
Joe worked as a car salesman the majority of his adult years at various stores but ending at Jim Baier, Inc. He then started his own business, Chip Shot, and continued working at various dealerships in Quincy and Ft. Madison.
Joe was an avid boater and Nascar fan. He enjoyed vacationing in Isla Mujeres, Mexico and made many life long friends there. Joe was a member of the Keokuk Yacht Club, Southside Boat Club, Elks Lodge 106, Knights of Columbus and Sons of the American Legion.
Joe is survived by his wife, Jeanne of forty-six years, his adored son, Jay (Tracey), three grandchildren that were his world, Emily (Isaiah), Kennedy (Evan aka… Devin, Kevin, Derrick) and Brody. He is also survived his brother, Jeff (Louise) Fuller and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John "Mickey" and Peggy and one brother, Christopher Fuller.
A graveside service was held at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa with Father Joe Roost officiating. Following the graveside, a Celebration of Life was held at the Keokuk Yacht Club.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Iowa Regional Hospice, St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the donor's choice.
