John Edward Moss, 68, of Keokuk, IA, died Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at his home. He was born on October 23, 1953 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Dane Edward and LaFern Mary Susan (Heimer) Moss. He had most recently been employed at Henniges in Keokuk. John enjoyed fishing and was a St. Louis Cardinal fan. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends at local establishments. John is survived by five daughters, Tonya Walker of Keokuk, Kathern Blakely of Keokuk, Lisa Donaldson of Ft. Madison, , Mary Skinner (Keith) of Keokuk and Marcia Lott of Keokuk. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, two sisters, Martha Andrews and Mary Lang, one half-brother, Sonny Gipe and a special friend, Ann Galbreath. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Betty Snow and one half-sister, Juanita Schreiber. A Gathering of Remembrance was held from 10 am – 12 noon on June 27, 2022 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk. Burial was in the Buena Vista Mound Cemetery.
