John Frank Hornberger, 63, of Wayland, MO died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at his home. He was born on March 28, 1945 in Camden, NJ the son of Russell and Doris Lennox Hornberger. John was a veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served his country from 1962 to 1965. He is survived by one daughter, Donna Maultz and her husband Joe of Hammonton, NJ, two granddaughters, Lindsey and Kaitlin Grams of Hammonton, NJ, one sister, Doris Dolesjch of Wilmington, Delaware, and a special friend, Starre McGhghy of St. Francisville, MO. Graveside services with military rites were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 7 at the Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Memorials were established for the Clark County Ambulance and the Clark County First Responders.
