Johanna Patun-og Jones, 41 of Wayland, MO passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born June 3, 1983 in General Santos City, Philippines. Johanna graduated from Liwa College, earning a bachelor's degree.

On December 23, 2024 Johanna was united in marriage to Tom Jones in Monticello, MO. He survives.

Other survivors include one son, Shin Berame of Wayland, MO, two step-daughters, Franchesca Veloso and Sofia Veloso and two step-sons, Dylan Jones of Keokuk and Jameson Jones of Wayland, MO. She is also survived by one brother, two sisters, one sister-in-law, Annissa Abston (Bill) of Keokuk and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Johanna had been employed by Innerserve as an auditor in the human resources department.

A lifelong learner, Johanna welcomed every opportunity to discover something new, always inspiring those around her. She loved to read, spend time at the beach, but above all, her greatest joy came from time spent with her family.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
