Jody Carol Fellows, 64 of Montrose, IA, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her home. She was born on December 23, 1949 in Seattle, WA , the daughter of Orville and Helen Haroldson Macy. Her father was a construction worker and the family lived in Anchorage, Alaska and Honolulu Hawaii for a while. She graduated from Mountlake Terrace High School in Mount Lake Terrace, WA. A few years after graduation she moved to Keokuk and married Dirk Fellows. Jody served in the United States Coast Guard. She was a member of Mensa, International. Jody was employed at the Iowa Department of Human Services for thirty years, until her retirement. During that time she was a clerk, a financial eligibility worker, a supervisor and Information and Technology Specialist. Most of the years she worked in Des Moines County and Lee County. She is survived by one brother, Travis C. Macy of Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jill. There will be no service or visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Keokuk Humane Society.
