Jimmie Dee Perry Waide, 81, of Kahoka, MO, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO. She was born on August 6, 1929 in Alco, Arkansas, the daughter of Walter and Dolly Branscum Richardson. She first married Ralph Perry in 1944 and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1983. She later married Verlin Waide in Kakoka, MO and he preceded her in death. She had been employed as a bus driver for the Clark County School District for thirty five years. She also was a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Junior Tuesday Club. Jimmie loved watching wrestling matches. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time at the Kahoka Senior Center and was an avid bowler. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she always enjoyed attending their sporting events. Jimmie is survived by two sons, Don Perry and his wife Rayline of Kahoka, and David Perry and his wife Peggy of Kahoka, two daughters, Dorothy Schorr and her husband Doug of Donnellson, IA and Doris Boudreau and her husband Marvin of St. Patrick, MO, two step daughters, Karen Bartels and her husband Lee of Kahoka and Bev Heinze and her husband Harlan of Kahoka, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister and four brothers. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Kahoka Christian Church in Kahoka, MO with Reverend Shawn McAfee officiating. Burial was in the Kahoka Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Clark County Marching Band or the Clark County Nutrition Site.
