Jerry D. Roberts, 61, of Kahoka, MO died Thursday, January 18, 2007 at his home in Kahoka, MO. He was born March 19, 1945 in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Glen and Geneva Gray Roberts. On June 22, 1963 he was united in marriage to Dorothy L. Egley in Kahoka, Missouri. She survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Tammy Roberts of Kirksville, MO, his son, Glenn D. Roberts of Wayland, MO, grandson, Jerry Roberts and granddaughter, Destiny Roberts both of Medill, MO, two sisters, Terry Hageman and her husband Jim of Winchester, MO, Linna Cooper and her husband Bill of Wayland, MO, a brother Steve Roberts of Kahoka, MO, two sisters in law, Reta Steele of Keokuk, IA and June Roberts of Keokuk, IA and many nieces and nephews. Jerry worked at Metzeler Automotive for 40 years retiring in 2002. He was an avid attendee of auctions, collecting antiques and hunting. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 20 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Pastor Tony Nye officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Wayland, MO. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Friday, January 19 with the family meeting with friends from 6- 8 at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
