James "Danny" "Mo" Daniel Wrieden, 53, of Keokuk, IA died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He was born August 8, 1961 in Keokuk the son of Francis and Glenna Lois Howell Wrieden. He was united in marriage to Diana Heavin. She survives. Other survivors include one granddaughter, Phoenix Tripp of Keokuk, two step-daughters, Heather Curfman of Carthage, IL and Jenny Gooley of Sedalia, MO, one step-son, Leland Robinson of Colorado Springs, CO, seven step-grandchildren, Madilynn Gooley, Austin Curfman, Colin Curfman, Madison Curfman, Cameron Curfman, Lincoln Robinson, and Layton Robinson, nine brothers, Francis "Butch" Wrieden and his wife Mary, John Wrieden and his wife Sheldia, Leonard Wrieden and his wife Pam, Richard Wrieden and his wife Lynda, Edward "Jake" Wrieden and his wife Carey, Terry Wrieden, Rob Wrieden and his wife Rae, Chuck Wrieden and his wife Tracy all of Keokuk and Mike Wrieden and his wife Robin Of Quincy, IL, two sisters, Sharon Duncan and her husband Dan of Montrose, IA and Charlyne Sapp and her husband Melvin of Luray, MO and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Mickey Tripp and several nieces and nephews. Danny graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1979. He had been employed at W&W Home Improvement in Keokuk. Danny liked antiquing and collecting coins. He loved the outdoors and often went camping and arrowhead and mushroom hunting. Danny always enjoyed getting together with his family and friends for fish fries. A funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Vigen Memorial Home with Brother Hauser officiating. Visitation was held prior to the service on Friday from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home with family meeting with friends at that time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
