View Video Tribute James F. "Jimmy" Morrow, 69, of Keokuk, IA, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. He was born on September 10, 1938 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Fredrick and Kathryn Kensett Morrow. On June 21, 1982, Jimmy was united in marriage to Janice James Noel in the Wedding Caves in Camdenton, MO. She survives. Other survivors include one step-son, Kirk Noel and his wife Jenni of Granger, IA, two grandsons, Seth and Kaleb Noel, two sisters, Carolee Arnold and her husband Don of Macomb, IL and Kay Perry and her husband Jack of Dallas City, IL, one brother, Vernon Morrow and his wife Nancy of Burlington, IA, several nieces and nephews, his mother-in-law, Jaunita James of Keokuk, IA, two brothers-in-law, Robert James of Lake of the Ozarks, MO Russell James and his wife Linda of Keokuk, IA, two sisters-in-law, Esther Floyd and her husband Lanny of Keokuk, IA and Paula Herman and her husband Dennis of Dexter, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jimmy graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1957 and graduated from Southeastern Community College in Keokuk, IA. He was a member of the National Guard for four years. He had been employed at ADM in Keokuk. After he retired he worked for Big River Box in Keokuk. Jimmy attended the Church of the Nazarene in Keokuk, IA. He enjoyed golf, classic cars and collecting treasures. Jimmy loved to spend time visiting with his friends. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Reverend Dana Jurgens officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park in Keokuk. Memorials may be made to the Church of the Nazarene or Greater Keokuk Area Habitat for Humanity.
