James "Jim" Kent Klotzbach, 78, of Kahoka, MO died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Keokuk Area Hospital, Keokuk, IA. He was born on January 17, 1936 in Quincy, IL the son of John (Jack) and Vera Huseman Klotzbach. Jim graduated from Keokuk Senior High. He was veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served his country. He was raised to have a great love for music, playing the cornet in his younger years, and truly appreciated that there are so many talented relatives in the family. Jim is survived by four children, John "Jack" Klotzbach and his wife Teresa of Pensacola, FL, Kimberly Ward & her husband Dusty of Belmont, ME, Kathryn Smith of Montrose, IA and James Michael "Mike" Klotzbach and his wife Michelle of St. Peters, MO, eleven grandchildren, Cameron Klotzbach, Khrystah & Chris Landers, Marc Jr. & Tracey McKinney, Megan & Alex Sexton, Morgan & Jeremy Roberts, Kristopher & Stephanie Smith, Mary Beth & Cale Caboth, Erin & Jerry Taft, Claire Smith, Mackenzie Klotzbach and Will Klotzbach, fifteen great-grandchildren, Reika Klotzbach, Elric Landers, Brenna & Alexis McKinney, Nora Burgess, Nathaniel Sexton, Garrett & Mason Roberts, Lily, Ivy, Emmett & Primrose Smith, Ellie Caboth and Colton and Avery Taft and two sisters, Jacqueline Wendt and her husband Fred of Nora Springs, IA and MaryAnn Barnes and her husband David of Kahoka, MO. A graveside service with military rites was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 8th, 2014 at the Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA.
