James Hobbs, 82 of Keokuk, IA died Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA. He was born October 22, 1939 in Keokuk, IA. On February 12, 2017 James was united in marriage to Leann Washburn in Keokuk. She survives. He was a member of God's Way Christian Center in Keokuk. James had been employed as a small engine repairman and had also worked at Meyers Plumbing. Other survivors include three sons, Elmer Hobbs, Robert Hobbs and Jimmie Hobbs all of Keokuk, one daughter, Tina Gooley of Keokuk, several other children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Rosalie Hobbs and one brother, Stanley Hobbs. Services will be held at a later date.
